I have never done a wedding rehearsal where the bride and groom were not speaking! Until yesterday! Dearie me, she was cross. Nor could I blame her.....the groom has lost his passport. The honeymoon starts on Tuesday and at present the bride will be on her own. Far be it from me to take sides between a couple about to commit themselves for the rest of their lives but I can see where she's coming from! That apart, the young man in question endeared himself to me yesterday by leaving a horsebox in the turning circle in the church car park. People drove down the hill expecting a route out only to find they had to reverse back up the hill. "No one complained to me" the boy said.

"You're not wearing a dog collar." He just looked very perplexed!
