Crete

We have sailed past Crete in the early morning. Some of the lighting effects were remarkable. Mist obscured some parts of the landscape whilst others were suddenly lit up. Several rainbows coloured our view and we realised how brave the early sailors must have been. Especially St Paul as they sailed around the known world.

Some time later we are now having a pirate practice! This consists of us sitting outside our cabins whilst we are counted. The idea is that no one should be able to be seen. All lights are to be put put and we are going to be going very fast indeed. Up to 30 knots. Bets are being taken as to whether the queen will plane!
True Brit grit is taking over with people with inside cabins offering hospitality to those with balconies.
