Bishop Tim

We are waiting for the new bishop to make a ceremonial progress through the Roseland. This will be his first visit to celebrate the setting up of the cluster of churches a year ago. It hasn't been going particularly well. But this is I think a chance to kick start it again. The arrangements have become so complicated that disaster looms at every step of the way. He is coming on the ferry on an old bus much used by bridal parties. Clergy and churchwardens travel with him. Each church will be visited and prayed over. We will end at Veryan for a faith tea and a service of Thanksgiving. The choir will sing. I am then supposed to be in two places at the same time. All our cars will still be at the starting point. My faith in God is sufficient to assume that all will be well. Eventually.
