Bulletin two

Blimey life in paradise is not easy. Half the ship seems to be coughing. Having spent most of yesterday sleeping I hoped to feel better today but right now a nice snooze looks good! My fever is better I think and the strong pain killers means I can move again. Last night I had a tiny egg sandwich in our cabin and this morning I am going up to have orange juice and a banana!
We were given a very decorative bit of paper last night to say that we'd crossed the equator. It will always remind me that I slept through most of it.
Tomorrow we land in Salvador. I am hoping to go ashore. Why not bring my germs to another tropical country. Perhaps not. I couldn't live with myself if I started an epidemic!
