I started a trend this lunch time. The weather was cool, outside the deck was windy so we retreated into the garden lounge which lives up to its name magnificently. As it passed noon the bar staff approached so I ordered the first drink of the cruise..a Long Island Iced Tea...
A man sitting close by said....."Is it a real one?"
Of course it was....a lethal but delicious cocktail enjoyed over several exotic voyages.
He ordered one, then one for his wife and soon several more people around the room...
By the time the band started to play we were all in the mood to encourage them.
Oh dear!
Caribbean music, followed by Neil Diamond songs it was all rhythmic . It would have been rude not to join in so we all sang, some danced. A good time was had by all.
But it was all my fault! I will try not to encourage too many people to have afternoon headaches tomorrow.
