Breathing clean air!

Back home we are already mentally summing up a truly wonderful experience......so many places and activities that it's taking some time to assimilate it all.....but we are glad to be home!

At the start of our cruise there was an outbreak of the dreaded virus that causes diarrhea and vomiting. The captain ordered very stringent hygiene procedures which worked to eliminate it.....I was the last one to be quarantined in my cabin!

The precautions worked and everything went back to normal.

Unfortunately I think some of the precautions were almost worse than the bug!

The entire boat was emptied so it could be sterilized. Our cabin was done three times in all and I have been coughing ever since!

I am an asthmatic! I have never had an attack in Cornwall so it was a fluke that I had the spray with me! I have spent the last weeks on board wheezing away like a broken down organ!

Home to lovely clean Cornish air! the remnants of it are still there but it's much better!

It's a small price to pay for all the wonderful things we have seen and done but it has made coming home even more brilliant than usual!

I can sympathise, cleaning materials cause so many problems, especially in public conveniences. It is inevitable that I have coughing fits every time, this doesn't reflect on the cleanliness of the place just the products used.

How I wish non scented cleaners could be used.

I think they really needed to eradicate the bug so they used very strong antiseptics.
