Thanks to all of you for your prayers yesterday.....lots of local people were praying too and it was astonishing how he slowly returned to smiling during the morning!
We have the doctor coming back today and tomorrow with the warning that we are not out of the woods yet. But progress is being made and I am even coping with the stairs. I have lived in bungalows most of my adult life and stairs are still a bit of a struggle...especially if I'm carrying a tray!
I've already been into the village to get him his paper and we plan to watch parliament today, our sitting room being next to the bedroom.....it's an upside down house. There's a metaphor there somewhere!
Thankfully neither us want Syria to be bombed by us so we will not fall out!
Kind people are offering their help in all sorts of ways and I am very grateful...once again my gratitude to you all and of course to God .
