Give me strength!

It's a daunting day....too much happening.....
One plumber is coming to fit automatic bleeders on a couple of radiators....I have already bled the one in the bedroom at six am!
Then I will talk to the other plumber from Truro....found for me via this blog by a good friend who actually knows and understands our new system!. All this before eight o clock!
Then the men fitting the complete chair lift will arrive, the two temporary ones having been removed yesterday. Confused? Imagine how I'm feeling.....
Then I get onto the real business of the day. Today is David's birthday! He will be 88 !
One son is bringing a cake. The other son left the candles....plus pictures of great grand children in frames.
I have presents to take in ...... A new cashmere sweater from me and a new small radio to tune to Classic FM....
We are trying to be fairly up market with David and allowing no overtones of grief or valedictory misery to creep in....but it's going to be hard. He is becoming immobile slowly but inevitably I'm afraid....but I will keep all my tears for when I get home...
Lord, hear my prayer!

None of my days start without prayers for you and David, nor end without more.
May the Lord help you to enjoy every bit of your time together.
