Change

It's been a very quiet week here both personally and geographically.

The muscles that I overused last weekend are still protesting though I can now move very slowly...

The exodus of visitors that started last Sunday has gone on all week...we are now left with the golden oldies....the people who have retired with grown up children. Life in the villages and on the beachs is almost back to normal.

The schools have started the term that leads to Christmas which is the weirdest thought I've had all summer!

It is a very different place today than it ŵas last weekend.

This time last year David was in hospital getting his pacemaker fitted...we thought that once it was in place our world would go back to normal....

Now the whole world is a different place, not just my small part of it....

Adapting to change is essential for survival as the dinosaurs found out to their cost...change is an evolutionary process...this week we have the extraordinary moment that decides the future of the United Kingdom...it may end by us not being united any more if Scotland decides to go it alone.

I pray for all those for whom change is hard...this moment, now our whole world is turning. Lord help us to change with it...
