Dear diary!

I still wake up much too early. My first thoughts are no longer full of grief but are mostly concerned with what I have to do around the house and where I need to go! Often this galvanises me into action..but not always....

I have got into the habit of blogging during this early morning mental survey...

Most mornings some item of news or a pressing need to communicate sends me to the iPad.During the period of bereavement writing the blog has been liberating...it's not quite a Mrs Dale...Dear Diary moment but it does mean that I am able to communicate both joy and angst!

Having no one else to talk to has made a daily rant an essential part of recovery and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

I read the blogs of other people too and the fact that it is now so easy to communicate is just wonderful. It is also apparent that for some people it is an easy way of attacking the writer from people who think they are free to vent their malice. I have my trolls as I see has everyone else.......moderating my blog means that they don't get in under the radar any more!

I may not feel impelled to contribute every day now I am in the process of getting back to normal so if one does not appear whilst you are having breakfast please don't fear the worst or the best if you are out trolling....

Thank you to all who read and sometimes contribute. This is a positive digital gift that I value a lot! It has replaced many hastily written, ink smudged notebooks!

And I really do give thanks to God for this gift of communication. Alleluia!

It's my opinion that a daily rant is good for all of us!

If I do not see you some mornings I will be happy to know you are healing.

Please don't let your welcome recovery prevent your blogging Jean, I depend on you for my daily dose of good sound common sense. X

Jean your blogging is highly valued. I always read them, even if I don't comment on each entry.

It's great to know that you're recovering some normality, but you voice of sanity is still needed here with us, who love to hear of the mundane as well as the difficult parts. That reassures us about your well being.

Thank you Earnie. This morning my broadband is out so blogging could be difficult! The 3G is very unreliable here! But it's all I've got!
