There are no words....there are no prayers...yet. Just shock and horror at another attack in our capital city!
Today, Pentecost I am doing the eight o'clock communion.
I had already planned to include in our prayers the carnage in Manchester. I know from friends and family still up there that the Whitwalks are going ahead.
Christians will walk in great number through the streets. I pray they will be safe.
I am simply appalled by what is happening. I can't remember a time when a simple act of Christian witness was so important or so dangerous.
That this horror is being done in the name of Allah just makes it much much worse.
Jesus wept.
Please God bring comfort to those grieving and those suffering physical and mental pain.
I ask this in your name Lord.
