Cyber interference?

The feeling that we are all in a mess persists. Yesterday’s speech from Boris just made me groan...his determination for Britain to stand alone is clearly built on the over reaching ambition to be the PM . He sounded like a school boy speaking in a school debate.
Mrs May has real problems quite apart from Boris. Her need to have the support of the DUP means that Ireland and the peace agreement is under threat from the Brexit decision. She no longer looks like a woman in control.
Another school shooting in America hits the headlines to make us wonder how long it can go on...this absolute right to bear arms!
Did Russia really interfere in the last American election? It’s a scary thought because it would mean they can interfere here too..or anywhere else in the world come to that. Weaponising information is a chilling assessment of several cyber attacks over the world.
It is a scary thought that Trump and Putin seem to like each other...
If we could blame them for Brexit it would get all our home grown leaders off the hook.
The world position just seems to get worse most of the time... observing from the sidelines is all most of us can do...whilst at the same time not being sure of future events at all.
A whole country not certain of what might be coming their way is not good.
Wringing our hands whilst waiting to see isn’t helping ...so all I have left is prayer yet again... Lord hear our prayer.

One of the issues is that we are getting too much information and news coverage. Years ago, we got news via the papers or on the radio or TV, now it is on everything, on our phones let alone the internet.

In some ways, a news blackout has some appeal, because without the news, those with an agenda like Trump or Putin would be silenced (at least for a while).

Yes, the world is in a mess, but day to day, we meet people who are leading lives blighted by more personal issues, health, welfare or spiritual distress. We deal with it and refer as necessary, and pray that their problems, which blight their lives will improve or be alleviated. They have little interest in brexit, Trump or Putin, they're just concerned to survive day to day.

The government does little to help, with the infighting and disunity that goes on. I fail to understand, why Parliament cannot put aside political differences and work cooperatively, to wring the best deal possible from Brussels - instead, we are continually offered false hope and threats of a hard brexit, and doom laden forecasts from the all sides.

The disunity of the country is reflected in Parliament, and the whole lot of them need to be careful, because in 2022, the next election might end up with hoards of independents with crazy agenda's holding the balance of power. I wouldn't vote for any of the main stream parties, as they've demonstrated their total tribal which means that none of them, including the greens can't be trusted.

Perhaps it's time to migrate to Cornwall and declare an independent republic, governed by sensible Cornish folk?
