Death

A dear old friend died yesterday.....this brings the total of four deaths to a hundred yard stretch,   three of them on the same road. I am doing two of the funerals this week at St JUst. The verger has found the graves they are to go into with some difficulty.  Its very strange at the moment .  The next village has also had a great many die  in the last few weeks. Is God doing some pruning? I am grateful that we have lost the very hot weather now,  in fact here its business as usual..its blowing a gale. To balance out the deaths I have a young mother coming to talk about christening her baby this morning. She will bring all three of her children with her.....we shall enjoy that.
