Golden Autumn

It really is glorious today...fully living up to its name. Its also warm and everything is growing after a week of rain. The gardens down here can't determine which season its supposed to be. We have rhododendrons in flower! It is amazing how green some things are next to russet covered trees. Tomorrow I am doing the eight o clock at St JUst and then the 10.30 at Philleigh. This after a week of funerals and back ache. All of my colleagues are away so the phone has been ringing like it used to before we got our new rector! I shall welcome them all back with open arms.
