David's birthday!

He has got his presents including a new cashmere cardy which he cannot wear here because it is still very hot!
Today the Indian authorities are coming aboard to check us all before we go ashore! I have taken off my cross as they seem very sensitive on this issue!
We have to line up and have a face to face meet with an official who will then issue a landing pass. No other country has behaved in this way. It's very weird but I assume they are hedging their bets on terrorism.
