I used to love watering the garden but that was when I could walk round it in five minutes. In Essex we had to water every night during the summer but here apart from the pots a quick soak twice a week has a been fine. Until this week. I have got so many new trees in that it started to look desperate for some, so David rigged me up a hosepipe which stretches from the back of the house almost to the end of the garden. At least 100 yards. It took me two hours! Add to that the fact that I shopped for a new sun lounger this week. It's main attribute was that it wasn't self assembly! Ha! I expect we will get it up.
