Ship activities

It's amazing how many things are going on in this boat. Today for instance as well as the lecture we are going to there is a choice of computing for beginners, bridge, an afternoon tea dance, a sale of various items in one of the corridors and a wine tasting. Afterwards there is an RC mass and an end of Sabbath meeting taken by the Rabbi. Tonight there is a show, a film and a demo in the planetarium quite apart from all the various ways of eating dinner. Impossible not to find something of interest.
One thing frequently on the daily agenda has always puzzled me. Mr Bill W and Dorothy must have a lot of friends I have always thought. But then I am very innocent. In most things. However it appears that these two people aren't real people at all. And how many friends they have is unimportant. It is the ships way of inviting like minded men and women to single sex encounters!
Late at night there are night clubs both modern and of the Art Deco variety. Cocktail parties abound and you could dance the night away if that was your pleasure.
Fortunately we are not pressed to join in anything. It's nothing like a holiday camp. Free to go to the library or listen to music or to do anything at all that pleases you, it's impossible I think to be bored on this moving village.
