St Just in Roseland

I  thought that on this day, the 750th  anniversary of our consecration you might like to see a picture of the church.
Here its stands against a wonderful backdrop of lush garden  and its quietness and beauty shine out for everyone who visits it.

We know there has been a church here since 550 AD and it was consecrated on the 14th of August 1261 by Bishop Bronescombe who was the Bishop of Exeter.
This is the church I brought my children to when they were small whilst we were were on holiday on the North coast, surfing. We loved it then and now.
I am privileged to be the assistant priest here and take services, marry people, bury people and christen people here.
It is a blessing for me and for all those who visit here, this church and long may it continue.
God is good.
