Cartegena

we are pulling into Cartegena in the dawn. It looks lovely. Lots of old forts and fortifications. The scene of many battles over the years it is said that if the English had won all those years ago Columbia would now be English speaking. So I am not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing'. We are going on a smaller boat around the harbour this morning and the suns up. Later The trip around the harbour was interesting. A troupe of dancers attended us all the way with drums and flute like things. It was very loud. The bad news was that this place is full of shops selling emeralds.
