The world in a grain of sand.

We are on the Pacific ocean now which is basically foreign. The Atlantic is ours in a way that the Pacific never can be. It doesn't lap our shores and we have never pulled fish out of it. I attended the traditional maritime service taken by the Captain this morning and it was very good. We sang lovely hymns and he used Celtic prayers again. The tranquility, the beauty of everything we are seeing and doing is best expressed in these words of William Blake To see a world in a grain of sand And heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand And eternity in an hour - Posted using BlogPress from my iPad
