St Anthony in Roseland.

The baby is blessed and the sun is out now. The little church was truly beautiful with flowers hanging from lanterns.


The font was also decorated . There is a legend here about Jesus arriving with his Uncle Joseph to look for tin . All over the church were symbols of this visit but the story about the bells was wonderful. High in the roof was a very ancient copper bell. The story has it that one day it dropped onto the tudor tiles beneath but neither the tiles nor the bell were damaged That plus the fact that the copper was not found anywhere in this country convinced us that it was a gift from Jesus .
Everyone in the congregation believed this story and I'm inclined to agree.
Its certainly very special indeed A privilege to have done it and the baby ,young Lilac was good too.
