Weak government!

This is a weak government. That much is obvious. Mrs Mays reluctance to sack her two problems is a serious indication of the truth of this.
Gove going to the help of Johnson in his present predicament must be testing her leadership skills. I suspect she would love to get rid of both of them but can't.
Brexit is the main reason why....their determination to push it through at all costs is muddying the waters of government so that other problems are getting pushed to one side.
When Cameron gave in to a referendum and then left office as the results came in has left the entire party in a sort of limbo with the chief Brexiteers very much in charge, intent on pushing their own agendas to the extinction of everything else.
May's determination to carry on is becoming an embarrassment. She has either to sack her two problems or resign herself.
It's all very sad. The news that another general election could be several years ahead is causing massive anxiety in many people...there is no prospect of getting rid of her or the Johnson Gove partnership.
What Rupert Murdoch's part in all this is not known but many suspicions are roused in this unlikely news period.
It is interesting. No one could be bored by it all....but the business of government is being neglected or so it seems...where ever we go in the future.
This  period has destroyed several reputations and has left the Labour Party to gain from it.
Several reputations are being heightened daily....and we, the watching public are all involved....
I hope some sort of solution is found soon. It's time to get back to boring politics!

What a week in politics this has been. Blundering Buffoon Boris and Ghastly Gormless Gove, what a match made in heaven that is.
I must say Theresa May's (gift!!) for choosing the right person for the job is almost unique in political history!
Guy Fawkes wasn't completely wrong.

Politics at the moment is totally bewildering. Faced with major decisions about the future direction of our country, they bicker and make political capital out of everything, instead of getting on with building the future. They are a national disgrace.

This combined with the evidence of sleaze in both politics and public life, makes for interesting headlines for the those disposed to take and interest in it, while ignoring the years old suffering of those who have hidden the abuse, until now the have the courage to expose such abuse across the whole spectrum of public life, and no doubt, even more wide spread among those, not in the public eye.

Sometimes I find it hard to pray in such a mix, and when we look at the world, I despair. The only thing that sustains are the psalms, which help to put things into perspective. Or even Job, shouting at God can be theraputic. God save us all.
