Leaving Europe?

Can our Brexit decision be changed? I really don’t know the answer to that question...but I am aware of lots of reasons for going back on the democratic vote last year.
The leading politicians in this desperate urge to get us out of Europe are the ones that make me wonder...Boris , Gove and the rest are trying to keep Mrs May on track to leave whilst at the same time pursuing their own ambitions to lead this country once all the messy details have been addressed.
Dominic Grieve is advocating another election before the final steps are taken.
Lots of dire warnings emerge daily...and we are said to be in danger of putting our civil servants into impossible positions.
I have no idea how valid any of these assertions are but they do seem to be coming thick and fast.
I wish I could believe that the politicians were not motivated by personal ambition...
When we were asked to vote it seemed simple...to leave or remain...now months later the clarity has disappeared.
We clearly hadn’t thought the Irish problem through...
Lots of other smaller anomalies arrive daily...but the image of Britain rising proudly to stand alone , united with America and the Commonwealth is not the one that is appearing at the moment or even looking likely.
I’m not sure any of us would welcome another general election after the hasty one last year but some end to all the anxieties would be welcome...
I doubt though that another election would solve the problem one way or another which leaves us limping forward and hoping for the best...what ever that might be...

I believe that we will leave. Just how we will leave is the question that puzzles me. When I read the rhetoric of the European Chief negotiator I get quite angry, because that seems to reflect the opinion that Europe is trying to punish the UK for it's dissent and it will do that, by imposing impossible penalties on what we have to pay and to abide by before we depart or if we depart.

On the other hand, the Government seems to have no idea of what it wants, from this process. It talks of a unique tailored agreement with Europe, with access to the Market (on our terms) and that we will not be subject to the European Courts of Justice which would defeat the object of our independence from Europe, if we are still under their thumb, we might as well stay in.

It is becoming increasingly clear that we are likely to have a 'Hard' Brexit and will be left without any trade deals at all and will have to start from scratch, while facing huge tariffs from Europe, who are our biggest domestic export market.
