Communion

I am at St Just this morning and it is a relief that we are back to normal, the Bishop has lifted the ban on sharing the chalice. It has provoked some resentment from the congregations because they felt they should have the right to decide if they are going to receive wine. Its sensible to keep the hygiene precautions in place I think, no one minds having their hands washed with anti septic gel! Only a handful of people in this parish has actually had swine flu but I suppose with winter approaching it could spread so its better to take some simple precautions.
