Home again

We arrived very late last night driving through huge pools of standing water and driving rain. Its cold here! Makes us realise just how lucky we were! So far its been a fairly good day. I managed to cook a Sunday roast with limited resources but the bottle of wine we had with it helped! David went off to do the Remembrance Day service in St Mawes whilst I stayed home and sorted out readings, psalms and sermons for tonight. Going out in the dark for winter Evensongs is always a bit of a shock but St JUst is beautiful whatever the weather especially with all the candles burning! My voice is still on the blink but with a microphone on it should be Ok. Singing might be a bit wobbly though!
