The world is getting smaller...at least that's the way it feels. Houstons plight is startling in its severity.
The missile flown over Japan is just plain frightening.
To send a nuclear missile over the only country to have suffered an H bomb attack already and are still living with its consequences is really evil.
We are told that people were warned to stay indoors.
That Japan is angry and upset must be an understatement.
Because today we can see the shocking effect of the hurricane on our screens , we share in the chaos in Texas mentally...
People displaced from their homes are struggling to get to places of safety.
We are told that the severity of the storm can be blamed on global warming.
Melting ice , hurricanes, sea levels rising , there are surely enough disasters in the world without North Korea joining in.
Japan is calling for tough action.....its hard to imagine what that might mean.
The escalation of this threat is startling.
Its hard to imagine what North Korea gets out of it apart from satisfying their need for crowing about their nuclear ability.
That Trump is busy with his own problems right now is the only reassuring bit of the whole scenario.
Its impossible to imagine how any of this is going to play out.
All we can do yet again is pray...and I do but without any specific intention...praying for the world feels a bit presumptuous but it's all I can do right now.
