What a week we are promised! It all feels dangerous right now. Most of us don’t like change especially when we get old. Security lies in what we know and are comfortable with.
It is becoming very clear that Brexit is going to mean upheavals in lots of different directions.
All I can do is to pray that it’s not going to be as bad as it looks from here...
This week we have lots of excitement offered...but do we really need the drama?
I certainly don’t.
I am putting off my next escape from reality by climbing onto a large ship and leaving the country. ......because at the end of any cruise I have to come home to what is starting to look like chaos.
The effects of Brexit may well be in small doses...not being able to find foods or medicines in the shops. But other things that we are unaware of now may well be about to happen.
Our economy may be damaged but its impossible from here to forecast how we are all going to experience the coming months but some change appears probable rather than possible.
Mrs May has chosen a rocky path...but full marks for courage....her stubbornness in sticking to her path into the unknown is starting to look like a sort of security.
I am not alone in hoping that the young hopefuls who have pushed this agenda through in order to gain personal advantage do not succeed.
But Brexit is happening and all we can do is brace ourselves....
It looks like a rough ride coming......
