Normal service?

Yesterday brought just one more trauma.
After struggling to get my blog working properly I noticed that an update had arrived for my iPad.
I said yes to it.
On switching the iPad back on I found that none of my apps had survived the process. It was an empty iPad.
None of my attempts to get them back worked so I rang Apple support.
I was able to arrange that they would call me on the phone.
A very pleasant female voice listened to my tale of woe and then step by step she somehow got it all back to normal.
I have no way of knowing just yet how normal this might be so I am trying again this morning to blog in the usual way. If this appears then I can start from there. An email this morning has given me some other ideas if this doesn’t work so please bear with me.
Normal service is being attempted now...
The shock I felt yesterday on seeing an empty iPad will prevent any more excursions into the unknown...for the time being...so it’s fingers crossed time yet again!
Later
It didn’t work. It won’t let me comment in the usual way. I hope it will allow you to comment but I fear it won’t. Earnie has emailed me with sensible help...but they don’t seem to work well .....so far....sorry!
