Snow?

Two late night phone calls last night warned me that snow was on its way.
I explained to both callers that here in Cornwall snow was seldom a problem.
"Well it’s on the way now" was the reply.
But I went to bed untroubled by this news.
Having slept well I woke early to hear a voice on the radio telling me that Bodmin moor had been badly affected during the night by snow.
Snow? I got out of bed to look out of the window.
No snow so I resumed my snug position under the duvet.
Two hours later there is still no white outside to worry about here but snow has clearly caused problems up country as forecast by my friends.
Snow was often a problem when I lived in North Wales but here in sub tropical St Mawes it’s almost unheard of.
The exception to that was the day an old friend arrived to take me into St Mawes in his Range Rover! That was three years ago. The fall then lasted till mid day before melting away.
Snow really isn’t a problem here....and I hope I don’t regret those words but it does seem very unlikely.
The main reason for several late night calls was to try to interest me in the next cruise which I have yet to book.
Cruising and snow clearly don’t go together so it’s all been tucked away until I feel more like it.
Around May possibly.....
