Beautiful Cornwall,

Driving around the Roseland over the weekend was particularly beautiful. All the hedges are white.
It must have happened before but it was very noticeable yesterday.
The reason for this is simple. The hawthorn which makes up miles of hedge is in flower.
It may have happened before but yesterday in full sunshine it was particularly noticeable.
It was very busy for a weekend so early in the year. The good weather brought out lots of visitors.
I didn’t go to the beaches...but I see from various posts on Facebook that the swimming season has started.
Arghhhh! The temperature of the sea must be very low just now but photographs of tough ladies turned up beaming with joy as they climbed out of the sea.
I don’t even venture into the sea in July these days so I am filled with amazement at their effort!
This morning the sun has disappeared behind the clouds...but no one could accuse Cornwall of being dull. It’s beauty shines out everywhere.
In contrast to all the dreadful news and the dreaded Brexit filling the airwaves it is a haven of peace.
I am so glad to live here....thank you God.
