From the house the weather outside yesterday was inviting. The sun shone, the wind rippled the hedge delicately . It looked lovely from inside the house but it wasn’t. It was very very cold!
The wheelbarrow stayed where it had been left over the weekend and didn’t go far at all.
It wouldn’t have been a surprise if it had snowed.
So yesterday I just stayed put. The house was warm.
The forecast seems to be that it’s going to get warmer but as yet I’m unwilling to risk it.
This weather is most unusual for Cornwall.
I shall stop moaning now.
But I did have time yesterday to read some of the old blog posts from more than ten years ago.
David and I were very fortunate and chose to leave the country in the early Spring most years.
Blog posts like old photographs bring back wonderful memories of times now lost but still dear in my heart.
We were lucky to be able to go off to see amazing places only found before on maps...
When I started blogging I hadn’t realised that these daily snapshots of my life would pop up as wonderful reminders in the years to come...
Some are very cross, often with politicians but most are just detailing the most boring details of our lives.
The death of my golden retriever as well as my husband made me weep yesterday but that was balanced by the laughter and gratitude for all our adventures together.
So on we go.....blogging away....alleluia!

The consistent things in life are visiting your blog and that of Sister Catherine the Digital Nun.
Both are informative and both are good to read. Other blogs as well, but not as consistently as yours and hers.
