The Sunday papers seem united this morning in their condemnation of Mrs May.
All the headlines suggest that it’s time for a change.
But wedded to her cause of achieving Brexit our Prime Minister has closed her eyes and ears to the uproar going on all round her.
It’s astonishing that she’s still in post. She has been under pressure to quit for some time and has even used her departure from office to get support from her MPs.
"I will go if you let me finish what I started."
I have now started to feel sorry for her. Fellow conservative MPs are furious with her for collaborating with Jeremy Corbyn.
But really did she have a choice?
Who could possibly have thought when all this started that months later we’d still be in this position?
Dates when we are to leave Europe appear daily. I’m not sure where we are up to now...it changes constantly.
The whole situation is a muddled crisis of our own making.
Another referendum seems the only way out of it now but we are all so fed up with it we might not go out to vote anyway.
One thing the country does seem united on....that those MPs so vociferous in advocating leave should not benefit from it . Boris , Gove etc seem to have even less support than Mrs May.
I don’t know where it will all end. Both parties seem to change direction daily...
Whether we leave Europe or not this country will never be the same.
I am not alone in my distrust of all the politicians involved. The Sunday headlines all tell the same basic distrust of politicians from every side of the argument.
Praying isn’t going to get us out of this one I’m afraid.

All I can say is mega cockup and all of those who lied to us are to blame.
Sadly, this seems to be an intractable issue, and the only solution is a general election.
