I start writing this morning very conscious of the disaster that was yesterday. When I went to sleep I was fairly confident that the problem had been solved....now I’m not sure and won’t be until I get this blog post up and running.
I had no idea how important this has become for me. But I was both encouraged and cheered by the support from you all yesterday.
Thank you so much...
Today I have to pop into the village to pick up some vital supplies first thing...after that I can actually do some packing...which will involve taking out everything I put in yesterday to see what I’ve included because right now I can’t remember.
It’s been a very strange few days...and set to get stranger...
Amongst all the angst of yesterday I included a call to the young man who drives me from Cornwall to Southampton. His cheery voice reassured me that the essential travelling part of my plans were in place...so I need to get on with it. Now!

Gooc that you have managed to revive this blog, which is internet history in its own right.
Hoping that your preparations for travel go well and that you remember your night dresses this time around (or the oversize T Shirts from that voyage of memory).
Will be thinking of you as you prepare.
