Yesterday was simply amazing. I was taken out to lunch to one of our great hotels that sits on the waters edge.
It was a lovely meal and the conversation covered a lot of ground.
Going home I sat down to rest when another visitor arrived...
It’s a long time since I had a whole day nattering...last night I was tired....
This morning I am still weary and am planning a quiet day....it remains to be seen if this is possible.
Amongst all the fairly unlikely events yesterday I sat outside in glorious sunshine in the early evening when a movement caught my eye. A rabbit jumped right in front of me. This in itself wasn’t so amazing but this was a black rabbit.
I’ve never seen a black rabbit before....this is not their usual colour so I decided that it was probably a tame one. Off I went to my next door neighbours who have children...but they denied all knowledge of my visitor...their rabbits were all safely at home.
So yesterday was most unusual.
Two visits, a lunch and a black rabbit....
I know that I have several things to do today but as yet I can’t remember what they are.
I am still in bed and nothing is jogging my memory ....
It’s warm outside, no wind blows, and I’ve been downstairs to get a drink..
I must take this day very quietly...

I am glad you are having visitors are are not alone, although you value the peace as well.
My life for the past three days has been a round of visits to my spouse who was admitted to hospital via A&E on Tuesday, sent by our GP. So, I have been home alone in the meantime and I hate it.
Off again soon to see her, hoping for some clarity on the way forward from her consultant. God willing.
I hope she gets better soon Earnie...I send my prayers.
