Today’s mess.

So many strange items of news have made for a weird week...  the fight  to become our next PM has clearly taken up centre stage.....but the more I see the more I worry.  It is inconceivable to me that anyone should actually want Boris Johnson as our PM unless it’s because we certainly wouldn’t be bored...but there are times when a bit of boredom would go down quite well.

This Brexit mess is responsible for much of what’s going on right now...and to get rid of Mrs May in order to put Boris in her place seems like a dishonest way of achieving our exit from the EU. Do we really need someone who states that he will get us out by yet another deadline?

As all this is going on we are sending ships to the Gulf to defend our ships out there.

Today’s headlines are positively frightening.  Whilst the Boris and Jeremy show is taking place who is in charge?     I hope Mrs May is standing by.

It feels like a mess! Even more weird is one of today’s headlines saying that Facebook is facing a huge fine. The reason for the fine is described as a data protection scandal.   Oh dear!

The world we are now living in bears no relation to the one I grew up in.   Post war Britain involved us all pulling together and we did, relieved that we had survived a real threat.

Today, seeing and hearing our news I am aware of how far we have come since then.   Life is I think better now but we could do without all the political in fighting. On the other hand we can never be bored...

Total disaster of governance and accountability. And that is only the thought police.

Time for change and a general election.
