Our PM?

Oh dear. Could any of us have forecast the way our government is conducting itself right now? Threats and promises fill the headlines this morning. Boris clearly thinks that all he needs to do to get our support is to promise 40 new hospitals.
New buzz words....about the NHS and the Brexit mess are filling the headlines . Dirty tricks may be used by anyone opposing him but the entire episode seems unclean.  Photographs of him with an old girl friend fill the front pages with various headlines promising anything he thinks we want.
Come along Tory’s . You are the only ones that can fix this before this country becomes a laughing stock at the hands of a greedy, conceited man who is convinced of his own greatness.  But he is not acting alone...or he shouldn’t be anyway...what is the rest of the Conservative Party doing about it?   They must be aware that he is a liability to them now. But are they?
One headline grabbed my attention...Boris would win votes even if he was in jail it proclaimed...and it might be right but shouldn’t we put it to the test?
Europe and the rest of the world must be enjoying this extraordinary performance by a British Prime Minister but it becomes more obvious daily that this is not a position he can treat seriously without promising us what he thinks we want to hear.  .
Neither do we need photographs of him with a glamorous model on his arm.  Brexit is approaching....fast...we need someone in charge of this country we can trust but no one springs to mind right now..unfortunately.
An election might not bring us a solution either....it certainly didn’t work for Mrs May. But as PMs go she stands as a burning torch of clarity in this foggy mess.
I don’t know if there is an easy solution to this all bound up with whether to leave Europe and go it alone...but I’m not paid to find one.   I hope those who are have got their thinking caps on this morning. Because we can’t go on like this!

He is on for getting Brexit Done. He will not stand down and I think he will need to be forced out. It may take Jail or it might take a No Confidence Vote with a coalition of pretty dubious parties putting an interim PM in place (if the Queen accepts him or her) to get a delay and than have a general election where apparently the question of Brexit will go back to the people.

But the questions asked last time were simple Yes or No, which won't do a second time around, the temperature has changed in the country and its likely that a majority will respond with a resounding yes, just to annoy those seeking to cancel brexit. The menace of the brooding Mr Farage is one that Boris can't ignore, he might need a deal with him to win an election.

Hazy times indeed.
