An election!

Well........we seem to be trusting the electorate to make the right decision for our country. I am glad.  No matter who wins this one at least the population will have spoken.

Brexit is responsible for much of what has happened to the running of our country this year. But it has made the choice very difficult.  We can’t just vote for the party we have always supported, there are just too many imponderables involved.

We certainly shall not be bored. We still don’t know if those cast out of the Tory Party will be welcomed back. We are stuck with Boris who seems to believe hs own hype. I wish we had two people in charge  of the  parties that I could vote for. But I think I shall stay green, what ever that might mean.

I do believe that Boris has got this one wrong. He has started to believe his own hype. But when he is on our screens several times a week I suspect we might all be imploring  him to invest in a comb! An attempt to appear tidy would help! The sight of our PM clearly needing to be looked after is not going to make the British public want to mother him. Smother might be closer to the word.

What a mess! Boris versus Corbyn does not inspire me with any confidence in our future either...in fact right now no politician looks good in taking centre stage . What has happened to our politicians?

I blame Brexit!  This daft idea has taken us in directions foreign to most of us.

Brexit do or die are not words to inspire. Rather they just make me shudder.

The next weeks are going to be very interesting...and if this was a soap opera  that would be good.   But this is real.....it affects all of  our lives...I just hope that something good might come out of it....I just don’t know what!   And neither does anyone else right now.

Oh dear.  Or words to that effect!

The General Election presents us with choices and opportunities. Vote for the existing parties, new parties or abstain. I think that turnout for this one, despite the winter will be enormous, as people have much anger to vent against those politicians who have gone against their wishes eor even hindered parliament with various schemes and plots to make everything grind to a halt.

And there will be a huge group of younger voters who felt left out by the Brexit referendum and the 2017 GE. There is another agenda as well, the XR campaign has impacted on people and radicalised many of older generations, who have never been on a protest before, but find them selves compelled to action by those seeing the signs of the times (very biblical) and thinking of the end of times.

It would be a fool who predicts the outcome with any certainty, the only certainty is that there will be an election - the outcome is beyond any of our prophecy skills.

I am hoping for a government of national unity, because we need something to bring the disunited Kingdom back together.
