Election musings.

Oh dear....I seem to be saying that a lot just now.... but I’m finding most of the election broadcasts very worrying.  There is no one I want to vote for. I watched the interview with Mr Corbyn yesterday.   And he tried....it certainly wasn’t a disaster....but it didn’t convince either.  I can’t imagine why the Labour Party have left him in place because he just doesn’t inspire me with any conviction that he’d be alright. It feels entirely wrong to vote for someone in order to keep someone else out.

I really don’t want Boris.  I really don’t want the young lady from the Lib Dem’s. but I don’t want Corbyn either....

One argument against the poor man is that he’s a Marxist....But right now I would be delighted by anyone with some decent plans for our future and looking capable of carrying them through.  But Corbyn just doesn’t inspire me with any belief that our future would be safe in his hands.  But neither do the other ones either.

I will vote Green...I have their election address safely on my desk...but I know that they will not be in a position to form a government.

So we seem doomed to be left with Boris...the Conservative choice!  Why? How have we got into this appalling position where none of the candidates look like possible leaders of our country in this troubled time.

I blame Brexit.  Since that word was coined all our political views have changed...  but the bottom line here is that I would far rather be part of Europe than hanging on to Mr Trumps coat tails.

Why the Labour Party and the unions think that Mr Corbyn would be a good Prime Minister as opposed to the leader of the opposition is a total mystery to me.

So oh dear!   Deary , deary me!

It appear from the Polls that Borish might be in the driving seat. But polls have been wrong before.

Voting Green is a sensible vote (we do) although we know that they won't be able to form a government.

As for Mr Corbyn he hasn't endeared himself to voters, nor has Mrs Swinson, whose promise to defy the brexit vote is one that doesn't hold well with many voters.

And of course, Mrs Sturgeon promises to hold us to ransom if she doesn't get another INDY vote.

A sad pack altogether and I despair of our country or for it with this lot in play.
