Approaching Chaos!

This is not a wonderful experience so far....we are approaching New York and the sea is fairly quiet...but somehow on this ship things keep going wrong.  Trying to prove my own identity can be difficult and getting stuff posted almost impossible...and yet I try!   Several passengers on board are people I’ve met before...I’m never short of a companion or two but somehow things go wrong, starting tomorrow when we all have to leave the ship.   Why did I not remember this absolute mess that is approaching New York!  I do understand why they are careful but this amounts to paranoia.  It’s my fault for not remembering in time.   But tomorrow I may have to ask for wheelchair assistance if it is anything like last years preformance.  I’ll try to do better with the blog...having had several anxious enquiries...  yes I am still alive.   More or less...

I remember your blog posts from the last cruise where you were kept in a large warehouse for some hours. Wheelchair is a good idea, what about your luggage, or are you allowed to leave it on board?

Perhaps going in a Ball Gown and Dancing Shoes will provide sufficient entertainment for the Customs and Migration people to allow you straight back on.

I was wondering if you had a bottle of whisky for your night caps, which you could use to keep you warm?

It’s funny you say that. It’s exactly what I do! Cheers!
