What next?

I’ve woken up to another day of wind and rain being flung at my window...so it’s all normal! The promised reshuffle of the government will keep me by a radio most of the day. Boris is on the move. I have yet to find anyone who actually approves of our PM. Mention his name in a group of people and lots of grunts, some giggles and much head shaking follows. He is regarded as a clown rather than our Prime Minister. It’s not a nice friendly clown though....it’s an out of control, mischievous clown. So where do we go from here? In my social circle I am the only one who is not a Conservative, which everyone else knows . So I listen to their views mostly...and it’s not good. They don’t like him anymore than I do. He is regarded as a bit of a clown who has been promoted well above his capacity. I do hear the occasional muttering from some of them about what the rest of the party is doing . I suspect the other prominent members are waiting to see what jobs they could be offered. Because even Boris can’t do everything. The storm outside may well be accompanied by some surprising news. Staying home near a radio is a much better idea than anything else I can think of. A partnership of Boris and Gove is a very scary thought...but one that keeps coming back. I hope someone will play the moment when the two of them first jumped onto the leadership bandwagon. it was not good. So here a long way away from Westminster the rain outside is not inviting...it seems to have lasted a week. I am being taken out for a meal tonight , weather permitting...so there will be a lot to talk about.. I can do this!

Politics is so boring now and brutal as the evidence of the reshuffle yesterday, when he got rid of his chancellor by telling him to sack all of his advisers. I sense the influence of that nasty piece of work Dominic Cummings, who now gets to dominate both No 10 and No 11 in terms of ruining our Civil Service, which appears to be his aim.

Someone posted on twitter that "Boris" was pleased to thank Mr Cummings for allowing him to remain as PM?

Weather is another worry, but won't bother us too much, We live on top of a hill, but those further down, might have some issues with flooding. And the Coronavirus seems to dominate everything. Just praying for those suffering and those who have died. Now in the hundreds is seems.

The church has introduced some measures to increase hygiene in services not seen for some years, since the swine flu epidemic. We are all advised to use sanitizer on our hands and we will have hand cleanser as people come into church for them to use, to try to avoid passing on germs via the peace.
