Moving on.....

First I have to apologise for yesterdays blog title...I am not in danger of starvation....yet...I just see it as the end result....eventually. It was very touching how many of you got in touch. but right now there is enough to eat if I take care. I don’t live in a village...getting to shops means driving my car to two villages on either side of me. So far I’ve not felt the need to go out...staying quietly at home, listening to all the terrible news coming through the airwaves is the most I’ve done so far. ..Isolation sounds the best bet now. I feel dreadfully sorry for families trying to feed children. I can and do pray but this will make no difference to anything...I have seldom felt so helpless in the face of all the dreadful news. My situation is nothing compared to those with families...closing the schools makes sense in some ways but having children to feed at home during the day is going to be very testing . Gathering food from hedgerows etc is not possible so early in the year. No apples, or any other fruit can be gathered at this point. The entire way of life we have got used to is about to change..one old woman is definitely dispensable. So please don’t worry about me if at some stage I’m late posting this blog...who knows where we are heading? I don’t.
