Life continues.
I am very touched by the number of people asking me if I’m alright. I am alright. I have enough to eat and drink and to be honest this situation is not far from my normal daily life here. The lock down hasn’t bothered me too much yet and I do hope that that statement will hold good for the time being. I have enough to live my normal way of life, thanks to some kind friends and a couple of very good sites I found on the internet. Once a week food arrives...after my first batch found almost by accident. . It’s all very healthy, mostly vegetarian but tasty... I am lucky to have found this and yesterday I made one of my soups...which lasts for days. I have no fear that I might die hungry! This morning my gardener arrives. Last week I sat outside with him whilst he had his snap. This week I’ll take it out for him, and then come back inside. My biggest problem now is the lack of cash. Usually I pay him in notes which he likes but this week it’s going to have to be a cheque. If I write a cheque for the next month that should be alright,....I hope. All these are silly little things...as I try to maintain normal life. but so far so good. Life continues in its usual way. Thank you God.

Off course with a cheque he will have to pay it in or cash it at a bank. When we receive cheques occasionally, we post them to our bank, rather than go and wait in a que to pay it in.
I am glad that you have sufficient for your needs, and are content. As are we, apart from deep cleaning the house in stages. Three rooms done so far, but given the time in hand, we can probably wait to continue next week, having a restful weekend in the Garden.
