Last night I turned on my TV to watch a film. And then sat up . It was set in New York and there on the screen was a place I know well. Out loud I spoke. " That’s the Museum of Modern Art. " and it was. Over the last years I have been in New York several times and I always visited this wonderful place. To see the paintings in real life and not just in a book is wonderful The film story revolved around stealing a picture from this gallery so we saw a lot of it as the story progressed. Gosh I did enjoy it. I found the various books I bought from there and realised yet again that I have been a very fortunate woman. Before I started cruising David and I had visited lots of places around the world and after he’d sadly left this life it was easy to continue on my own. Last year I visited New York several times, I actually enjoy crossing the Atlantic on a ship. But when I arrived home after the last cruise I realised that I had done my last one. I don’t intend to stay home for long after this present situation is resolved but as yet I have no plans .....when the time is right I will decide...but one of the wonderful hotels in Cornwall is drawing my mind just now. If they survive this barren spell where they have had to close down. But seeing the scenes from New York last night was wonderful in this present time we are all living in, where even going in to Truro is best avoided. But nothing lasts for ever....and if I have to stay put I live in the most beautiful place in the world. Thank you God.

It is good that you are able to reminisce about past travel, particularly when travel in the short or meduim term seems to be out of the question.
If you do decide to cruise again, I hope it will be as good as the past, although your last trips seem to have been a little bit blighted.
But glad for you, whatever you decide.
