Eventually!

Having failed to blog this morning I am trying again this afternoon. I really dont know what goes wrong on these occasions but I think its worth a try..... when everything changes over night it takes me several days to catch up so fingers crossed. I was very touched this morning when several people asked me not to stop. I wont stop unless I am given no choice...and if I have to do it much later than usual then so be it. The weather here has been lovely but not with the heat they have had up country.... having lived in Essex I have experienced the really bad heat when everyone seeks shade. Its never like that here...being so close to the sea makes a difference...I used to always go to the beach for a swim in the past but now I stay at home. Cornwall is very full I am told...which can only be good for those who rely on their visitors. None of my friends from up country are here...they are waiting for the Exodus when everyone goes home. I remember those days very well....the children in tears, the bags badly packed at the last moment and the arguments as to whose doing the driving. Our journey back to Lancashire took all day. I am so glad I no longer have to join in now. thank you God.
