Mr Trump won?

Lying in bed with my eyes closed I heard Mr Trump claiming victory. Groaning quietly I sat up to find that it was actually not true..at least not yet. All the votes havnt yet been counted...we shall see if Mr Trump really has won another term in offce. No one could complain that this period is dull. It certainly isnt. Having slept well I found my handkerchief and realised that during the night I had had a nose bleed. This is most unusual but the evidence is there..So I have to wonder what on earth is going on.....I feel fine...and I have never had a nose bleed since I was a little girl. In a world where nothing now is normal its just one more thing to get used to. And hope it doesnt happen again. So I must take more care with my medication. I admit to being careless lately. So I must do better...though I am not actually sure why! I see the sun shines outside and traffic is light but moving. Waiting for the final results from America feels very strange. Both candidates claim to have won. It may be a few days until we are sure. Im glad our voting system is different. We may not always be happy with our ballots but I think we can trust them....at least I hope so.

Good morning Jean.
Hope you’re ok after your nose bleed.
The USA elections are unbelievable! I’ve decided to try to have a ‘News free’ day today. Sometimes it just feels right to be an ‘ostrich’.
Take care

I find it troubling that the so called "Leader of the Free World" is allowed to bluster, to lie, to intimidate, to stir up racial hatred and division with impunity.

Surely in a written constitution that the USA should have built in curbs into what their leader can say and do. But of course the "Free Speech" agenda, not matter what they say has primacy.

There is no law of libel or slander there so people can literally publish whatever the want, whether true or not.

Trump has been the worst President that the USA has ever elected and demonstrates how divided they are, sadly Trump has tried to dismantle the legacy of the Obama regime, "Affordable Health Care" which is due to be debated in the US Supreme Court soon, and since Trump will still in power until January, he can fulfill his ambition to make the poorest and most vulnerable in the USA even more destitute. Thank God for our NHS.
