Oh Dear Again!

Well I am up dressed, showered etc and I have been outside. The sun shines and my house looks terminal. There are ladders fore and aft...great steel barriers up . It looks like a prison not a home. I have explained that the children next door are very young indeed...and never come into my garden but I now have child proof barriers erected . Its all a bit military. It feels alien...and I just have to remind myself that all I needed was two tiles replacing on the roof! It feels much much more than that! I am trying very hard to convince myself that its all for the greater good but so far I am not succeeding. What I say doesnt actually seem to get through. The young man has his orders and they are not from me! To say I am fed up is definately an understatement. I just want the tiles back on and everyone to go away! The deep suspicion that I am being manipulated lurks . It seems an awful lot of work for a couple of tiles! I am sure the builder has another excellent explanation but right now I dont want to hear it. I just want them gone....soon!

Good morning Jean.
Oh dear.
I’m sure you blogged a few weeks ago about having to have major work done on your house. I seem to recall there was blue plastic blowing in the wind??
I hope you get to the bottom of this situation and all necessary work can be carried out safely and speedily.

Jean, I have just looked at some of your previous blogs and on 9th February you mention damage to your house. Could this be what the workmen are attending to?

Take care, and I hope the situation is clarified soon.

Yes that is certainly part of it...but I am still not sure about the rest of it! They seem to be taking instructions from someone else!

Is it possible that your insurer is giving the directions? Ignoring your views, as they believe you to be a vulnerable elderly lady>

I hope it is ended quickly.

We have builders coming in next week to do some agreed work, which we are directing, not them. We have an estimate and we will hold them to it.

It will take two weeks to complete, apparently there is a shortage of garden sheds (we need a new one) and Fencing, which we don't need. We shall see how it goes. But making the garden safe for Jen, following her stroke is the most important thing on my mind.
