Oh Hell!

The builder arrived just as I was walking down the stairs. His figures for putting everything right are terrifying. When I tell him I cant afford it he clearly doesnt believe me! I really am not sure now what to do. But I think I must find a way of living somewhere else! This situation is something I never dreamed of. Scaffolding goes right round the house now! No one would want to buy it in its present state. So what do I do? Just now I have asked him to do the minimum to make it safe! After that I really dont know! Scaffolding covers the house! Inside its warm and cosy! I am too old to cope with most of this...I just want to move! But I do own my house and am therefore responsible for it. Oh dear! Oh hell!
