Chaos!

I got up early in the expectation that my builders would be arriving around eight o clock! But so far they have not turned up! I dont know whether to be relieved or anxious! A walk outside shows the mess that was once my wall. So its not a bad dream! I really wish it was! All the angst of last week has returned this morning... My cleaner lives next door to the builder so she will know whats going on. I think. I am fast reaching the conclusion that I am too old for all this. I really dont need the mess and the anxiety that I live with daily. I have considered going to a hotel for a short break but I am not sure if I can afford it any more. Oh hell! In the space of a couple of weeks everything has changed! I no longer feel in control of anything. . To add to the chaos I got a very large cheque returned at the weekend because it had the wrong name on it. This is because I remarried. My surname changed on marrying David. But they were informed of this when I sent copies of the certificate soon after! But that seems to have got lost! Nothing is working for me just now. And I cant even blame the lockdown! Help!
