Good Friday?

I did post something yesterday which seems to have disappeared! So today is Good Friday. The most serious day in the Church calender! I am up early and so are my builders! Yesterday I told a good friend who is newly bereaved that I would take her out for lunch today. My daughter in law then informed me that nothing would be open today! And so I am afraid that I look set to be a disappointment! I can find some food in my freezer but its not the same as being taken out to a restaurent to eat. The sun is making everyone feel better...and of course there are a lot of good walks around here but it seems unlikely that we will find any pubs open! Life in the lockdown is not the same obviously! The sun is just glorious...we can at least have a lovely stroll. And you never know what we might find open as we go! Fingers definately crossed....and everything else!

Good morning Jean. Really pleased to see your blog this morning having not seen you yesterday!
No sitting in restaurants just yet, but you may find somewhere with a takeaway menu so you can eat al fresco.

It seems strange here not to be going on the ‘usual’ Good Friday Walk of Witness.
But I do have Hot Cross buns!
Take care and enjoy your walk

Sadly pubs etc are not opening until about sixth of May, for outdoors service. And Good Friday is a Bank Holiday, an opportunity for pubs etc, missed.

Glad that the weather has improved for you, and it keeps that way.

Prayers continue for your ongoing health and well being.
