Solitary Life!
Life just continues strange...This morning for instance I got a text message saying they needed instructions to find my house so that they could deliver my new phone! Needless to say I am not giving anyone instructions as to how to find me. Everyone who needs to know has them already! Plus I have not ordered a new phone! Oh dear....and still it goes on! Ive been out already and its a fine bright morning. The cock agrees. His cry accompanies me as I do the circle. I find I like it. Having checked my fridge I really dont need any food . Im not sure about the drink. I seem to be getting through that faster than usual! Looking around my office I see several stacks of paper waiting to be sorted out so I think that this could be the morning that I start. This solitary life is not a problem...I can always phone people if I need to ...but I dont do that very often either...My emails seem to fill the gap! And accompanied by the cock I even have company when I am walking! Nothing to worry about at all!

Being solitary sometimes can be a bonus, but I am one who likes to be around people quite a lot and solitary for me consists the few hours when Jen is at work and I am home, perhaps doing stuff in our newly finished garden or reading or writing or compiling articles for our parish magazine.
But I tend to still go out to the shop up the road for a newspaper, as the written word can be more peaceful than the news media on the TV or Radio or even online.
I am glad that you are now relishing being solitary, because it means that you're now not having hoards of workmen swarming over your house and garden. And your solitary retreat is again a safe place to be.
